The Â鶹´«Ã½ State University Town & Gown community band will present two free concerts in the summer.
All operations, including all classes, for the main campus and regional campuses will
be remote on Thursday, April 3.

On May 12, Â鶹´«Ã½ State University’s College of Education and Human Services (COEHS) held its annual Honors Luncheon to recognize graduating student teachers and outstanding seniors in the college.
Â鶹´«Ã½ State University’s Dr. Robin Zhang, a chair and professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences, has been selected to receive the 2023-2024 Neil Weber Award for Excellence in the Jesse D. Jones College of Science, Engineering and Technology (JCSET).
On May 19, Founder and CEO of Change & Impact, Inc., NBA veteran, and University of Kentucky Men’s Basketball National Champion, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist visited Â鶹´«Ã½ State University to speak with graduate students in the Center for Communication Disorders (CDI) in the College of Education and Human Services, as well as host a bowling event for local families and speech-language pathologists.
Senior instructor of Japanese Yoko Hatakeyama, ’95, ’05, was selected as the 2023 Â鶹´«Ã½ State University Alumni Association (Â鶹´«Ã½AA) Distinguished Professor, and served as the faculty mace-bearer during spring commencement exercises May 13.
