Admission Requirements
The Â鶹´«Ã½ State Counseling Program is committed to a full counseling education experience for students, including knowledge, skills and personal development in an evolving and diverse world. Students applying to the CNS program should maintain qualities that meet College of Education and Human Services standards. Counseling students should demonstrate inclusiveness, responsibility, enthusiasm, caring, confidence, and ethical behavior.
Fall Admission
Applications are reviewed for Fall Admission during the spring semester. Deadline to apply is January 15.
Application requirements:
- Â鶹´«Ã½ State Graduate School Application
- 3 letters of professional recommendation
- Your letter of intent explaining why you want to be a professional counselor
- Your most current resume
- Interview with the Counseling Program Admissions Committee
