Counseling - Clinical Mental Health Counseling Concentration
The Clinical Mental Health program is designed to prepare professional counselors to provide individual, group, marriage, couple, and family counseling in various settings (e.g., agencies, private practice, etc.). In addition to training students in the foundational areas of counseling (i.e., theories of counseling, foundational counseling skills, professional issues in counseling, etc.), coursework for this program will provide training in advanced counseling skills and supervision, diagnostic techniques and treatment planning, research, addictions, and multicultural counseling.
