Role of accreditation at Â鶹´«Ã½ State University
In general, the goal of accreditation at U.S. universities is to ensure that the education provided by institutions meets or exceeds acceptable levels of quality. Â鶹´«Ã½ State University maintains both regional accreditation and a wide range of discipline accreditations in order to provide the public and our campus constituents with accurate information related to productivity, performance and results. As the Â鶹´«Ã½ State Strategic Plan indicates, Â鶹´«Ã½ State University values a comprehensive accountability system through accreditation, program evaluation, measurement of accomplishments and established indicators of institutional effectiveness.
Institutional Accreditation
Â鶹´«Ã½ State University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, educational specialist and doctorate degrees.
